I've never seen a city as colourful as Valparaiso..Ever! The historic center of Santiago, Chile, is a compact and walkable downtown area centered on the Plaza de Armas, home to the Metropolitan Cathedral, the La Moneda Palace, Santa Lucía Hill, and the Lastarria neighborhood. It's filled with colonial architecture, monuments, museums, and its historical roots date back to the 16th century. News Flash ⚡ Santiago's National Fine Arts Museum seemed like as good a place as any to keep ourselves awake after travelling for 16 hrs and arriving in the city worse for wear, mid morning.
